A Weird Association
I know this may be very random and tangent to this blog but every time I picture Hareton Earnshaw, all I can see is this:
I know its very weird and scary, but honestly I pictured Gollum/Smeagul from Lord of the Rings every time I read about Hareton. Comments? Am I weird for thinking this? (probably)
Hahaa, I cant say that i think the same thing but i think that it it is very interesting that you associate Hareton with Gollum. I pictured him him to look like a scronny and weak young boy. The novel "Wuthering Heights" describes his dad as a feeble minded fellow, so i imagined that the traits were passed on to Hareton.
