The Romantic
A quote from Heathcliff that I love: "I cannot live without my life! I cannot live without my soul!" In my opinion, although Jane Austen is one of my favorite authors and her literary works are timeless, Emily Bronte wins the award for best writing. Her quotes, such as this, makes me really appreciate and recognize her as a distinguished writer.
I agree;I think that quote is really cute, and romantic too. I just really wish that Heathcliff would have shown more of the romantic qualities and less of the revengeful side of him. But I do like it when he does get all "lovey-dovey"; that's when all the best romantic quotes are said.
