Lockwood's Possible Love

Lockwood, in chapter 31, starts to wonder that if maybe Catherine married him, she would be allowed to escape from the dreary place, and move into a more pleasant environment. I think that's really sweet of Lockwood, and I hope his words foreshadow some kind of romance or relationship between the depressed Catherine, and her possible savior, Lockwood.
