Catherine's Positive Influences

The passed Catherine Linton, has actually influenced Heathcliff's actions more that I thought. Whenever Heathcliff claimed that Catherine's ghost was haunting him, I thought he was just trying to trick everyone. But towards the end when he said that he started to see many reminders of his past love, he decided to stop seeking revenge on Catherine and Hareton. I actually believed him, because I think Heathcliff would definitely be the kind of person that would listen to the signs that were given by Catherine. I think that this is great improvement, considering all that he's done to those he despises.
